START WITH AN ASSESSMENT

Blocked truck DPF or
recurring warning lights?

A restricted diesel particulate filter affects exhaust flow and can contribute to reduced power and higher fuel use. Repeated warnings may also point to an underlying engine or emissions fault.

We check the filter’s condition before recommending a cleaning method. Where a deeper clean is needed, we can discuss removing the filter for specialist treatment.

THE CLEANING PROCESS

How our truck DPF cleaning works

Diagnosis comes first. The cleaning method depends on filter condition and whether the work can be carried out on the truck or requires filter removal.

  1. Inspect & measure

Check condition, fault information, filter flow and pressure to establish a starting point.

  2. Choose the process

Assess the cleaning needed and whether the filter should be removed for treatment.

  3. Clean the filter

Use the cleaning method agreed after assessment. Where removal is needed, the filter is treated using the specialist off-vehicle process.

  4. Check & report

Recheck flow and condition, with before-and-after results for your maintenance records.

Truck DPF cleaning questions

How much does truck DPF cleaning cost?

Medium truck DPF cleaning starts from $695 incl. GST, and heavy truck DPF cleaning starts from $895 incl. GST. These are starting prices, not a fixed quote for every truck. Confirm the cleaning required, any additional diagnosis or removal and refitting work, and the total price before booking. See the medium truck and heavy truck booking options.

How long does a truck DPF clean take?

The appointment guide is 4 hours for a medium truck and 6 hours for a heavy truck. Actual downtime depends on diagnosis, filter condition and whether removal, off-vehicle cleaning or additional repairs are needed. Confirm timing when you book; an appointment duration is not a guaranteed return-to-service time.

Can you service trucks at our depot?

Mobile support is available across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Ipswich. Tell us your location, vehicle details and site access requirements so we can confirm a suitable service arrangement.

Is DPF cleaning the same as a regeneration?

No. Regeneration uses heat to oxidise trapped soot, but it does not remove the non-combustible ash that accumulates in a DPF. Cleaning may be needed to remove that ash. Repeated or unsuccessful regenerations require diagnosis to establish whether the cause is filter loading or another fault.

Will the DPF need to come off the truck?

That depends on its condition and the level of restriction. We assess the filter first and explain whether on-vehicle work or a deeper off-vehicle DPF clean is appropriate. Agree on removal and refitting arrangements before the work begins.

Can you help with recurring DPF warnings or limp mode?

Yes. Repeated warnings and reduced power need diagnosis as well as an assessment of the filter. Cleaning alone may not resolve an underlying engine or emissions-system fault. If the warning relates to the AdBlue or SCR system, see our AdBlue diagnosis and repair service.

Can a damaged truck DPF be cleaned instead of replaced?

Cleaning does not repair cracks or other physical damage inside a filter. We inspect its condition and discuss whether cleaning is suitable before proceeding. Any underlying fault also needs attention to avoid repeat problems.

Do you provide results for fleet records?

Before-and-after flow testing and a cleaning report help document the filter’s condition and the work completed. Discuss any fleet reporting requirements with us before the service.
